Technical Name: Glufosinate Ammonium 13.5% SL

Bitola herbicide, containing Glufosinate Ammonium 13.5% SL, is a selective post-emergence herbicide ideal for controlling tough weeds like Echinochloa spp., Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus rotundus, Digitaria marginata, Dactylotenema egyptium, and more in cotton and tea crops.

Mode of Action:

Bitola herbicide, which contains Glufosinate Ammonium 13.5% SL, inhibits the enzyme glutamine synthetase in plants. This enzyme is essential for ammonia detoxification and amino acid synthesis within the plant. By inhibiting this enzyme, Glufosinate disrupts protein synthesis and other essential metabolic processes, leading to the eventual death of targeted weeds.
